Pilates Private Sessions Our sessions are tailored to each individual's needs. The goal of Pilates is to improve your movement, posture and muscular balance so that you are freer in your body. This is not the contemporary Pilates that tries to compete with post-crossfit Gym-Rat mentalities. Joseph Pilates called his method "Contrology" and sought to teach people to control, and be aware of as many muscles as possible, not just the big, pretty ones. He fixed a lot of broken bodies and got athletes, ballerinas and factory workers moving better than before. There is nothing like the sharp eye of a well trained Pilates instructor to set your movement right! Come discover Pilates as it was meant for your particular body.
TRX Suspension Training We approach TRX like Pilates equipment. TRX is set apart from other equipment in the way it creates a constant point of instability, asking you to engage your core the whole time you're using it. It offers great athletic cross-training and a place to take your Pilates shoulder work when you've plateaued. It's also supportive & useful when recovering from an injury.
